Extravagant Generosity - Post Production

The tour is over and ahead of us lie hours of footage that will make up a video series on generosity within Texas churches.

The entire production was shot in HD and will be used as a resource for the TAC Conference towards the end of May, 2010. Our travels took us from Houston and the Galveston Bay area all the way up to the TX/AR border and as far west as College Station (plus several "one light" towns in between).

We interviewed many givers of generosity and many recipients (a lot of time they were one in the same - it seemed like one story of generosity always lead to another story). We’ll be sure to post video highlights from the stories as they come together.

Extravagant Generosity - Video Tour

Hannisdal Express has teamed up with Two20 Media again to produce a series of mini-documentaries for the Texas Annual Conference of the UMC.

The theme for 2010 is Extravagant Generosity. Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be traveling throughout east Texas capturing a variety of stories relating to this theme. The videos will be used at their conference in May as well as be an online resource.

A few of the stories we'll be covering have to do with helping refugees who arrive in the states with nothing, “back to school bashes” where churches provide clothes and other basic necessities for children in need, and churches partnering together to help rebuild after hurricane Ike.

Check back soon and hopefully we’ll have some pictures or video to share.

Let it Snow in 2010

This has been the year for record breaking winter storms! Not just in our region of Ohio, but for most of the country. And it just keeps on coming.

I’m glad to say it’s been the same for Hannisdal Express. So far in 2010 we’ve had a couple of record breaking months (and February isn’t even over). We continue to add new projects and clients to our line up and are also excited about some new equipment upgrades.

We look forward to putting out our best work ever in 2010. Let it snow!

Video Marketing Isn't an Option

Most likely if you have a business and you’ve spent any time online you’ve heard of “video marketing”. It’s nothing new.

It is an ever evolving and super affordable way for businesses to communicate with their audience. The statistics for the amount of people watching online videos are off the charts. Since most people don’t even read web pages any more (they scan), videos are becoming the most popular way to share information.

Whether it’s to demonstrate a product, give testimonials, virtual tours, or even communicate within your company, video is becoming the dominant way to do that. Because of free video sharing sites like youtube.com, you can easily share your business with the rest of the world in an affordable and simple way.

In the past, video used to be an option when it came to marketing a business. Not anymore! Now video is an essential tool to any marketing campaign that has an online customer base.

If you’re not using video to market your business you might want to ask your marketing team why that is. Oh, and if you need a quality video produced, we know someone who can help.

Happy New Year and Thanks for 2009!

As 2009 comes to a close, I’d like to take a minute and say thank to our customers.

2009 has been a very exciting year for us and that is because of you.  Thank you for trusting us to represent you and allowing us to be your “video department”.

We have some exciting news coming in 2010 so be sure to check back.  But for now, thank you and have a happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Stan Long
